Check out some of the acts you’ll hear regularly at The Gables at Chadds Ford, because they’re our customers’ favorites:
Tony Lombardi has been playing the piano for as long as he can remember — and we’re glad! He owns Lombardi Piano Tuning & Performance services and also does piano sales as one of Taylor’s Music Store & Studios’ piano experts. You’ll love listening to the many types of music he can perform — just ask!
David Zipse is a virtuoso pianist whom you’ll find at festivals, concerts, casinos, clubs, restaurants and theater shows, in addition to The Gables. He’s known for his amazing repertoire of more than 1,000 songs which he’s memorized! Go ahead: Shout out a request, whether it’s jazz, Broadway show tunes, oldies, Motown, classic and modern rock, and much more.
Jack Marshall is a pianist who has been a longtime performer at The Gables. He also offers music lessons in the Kennett Square area. A jack-of-all-trades (pun intended!), Jack also is a master at painting, woodworking and jewelry making. When there’s an art show at The Gables (watch our Facebook events page for that and more), you can bet Jack’s creations are some of the most-coveted.
Michael Marini is a self-taught pianist specializing in improvisational piano. This unique style combines classic rock and classical music, with a touch of jazz and blues. He’s created Spirit of Seven, which is multi-genre piano music for all ages. Always into creating something new, Michael published a book, Seven: In the Lane of Hope, plus an accompanying album, PLEIADES.
Anthony Saddic is a pianist, keyboardist and composer who also teaches music — not bad for someone who completed his bachelor’s of music theory degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2019! He’s with the band Shortcut, and has also played solo concerts, and as an accompanist, in rock bands, jazz ensembles, orchestras and more.
Mike Stegossi prides himself on having an expansive repertoire, playing everything from the soothing dinner music you’ll find at The Gables to jams of all sorts at local bars and festivals. Whether he’s in a tux or jeans and a tee shirt, you can be sure that he’s entertaining and delighting on the piano.
