There are a lot of great reasons to push your holiday party into the new year, but we’re going to focus on the top three: time, planning and ambience.
We love the holidays just as much as the next awesome venue. But we see how, for some, planning a corporate or personal gathering can bring more headaches than cheer. And although we do have a few dates left in November and December, we invite you to think outside-the-gift-box and consider hosting your holiday party in January 2020.

Top 3 Reasons to Book in January:
1. Get Past the Party Hangover
We’re not necessarily talking about the alcohol-induced kind of hangover, either. We mean that most of us feel overwhelmed in December, thanks to hitting multiple family festivities, friendsgivings, your significant other’s work shindig and last-minute holiday happenings. Let your guests know you understand by pushing your event off until January. From experience, we’ve learned that there’s a “renewed vibe” at January events, since people are refreshed and ready to mingle over good food and drink once the hectic holidays are in the past.
2. Make Life Easier for the Party Planner
Corporate party planners often have new budgets in the new year, enabling them to splurge a little, rather than having to squeeze every last dime in December. Regardless of budget dollars, both corporate and personal party planners will find more “off season” deals between the traditional holiday season and the start of wedding season. Pro tip: Consider a weekday party for even more savings on your favorite venue. Don’t see a discount? Ask!

3. Cultivate a Relaxing Environment
Did we mention that the holidays are hectic? By mid-December, many people see holiday parties as a chore rather than the bonding celebrations they’re meant to be. In January, distant family members have returned to their own homes, the decorations are stowed away, and the focus is on a fresh start. It’s the perfect time to gather together, relax and recharge, while thanking your employees or simply celebrating with your local family and friends.
